BRIEF

[Soliloquize] is a conceptual design work that has not yet landed. “Soliloquize” means, by definition, talking to yourself. Tell it what you want to pour out, and it will analyze and reconstruct the information and feed back to you. You might receive a poem, a piece of music, or some pictures or a video. It may speak like you, but often unexpectedly. It can be a friend who listens, a mirror who knows who you are, or a partner whom you can clash ideas with.

The main structure of [Soliloquize] is made of aluminum alloy through a sheet metal process and anodized for surface treatment. The front side is the lamp effect module. When interacting with it, the brightness, tone, flicker frequency and luminous area of the lamp effect change with the interactive content. In the middle is a microphone, the sheet metal of the shell extends to the outside of the microphone, and the porous structure is made by laser cutting, which is designed semantically to present the structure of the microphone and its filter screen, making the whole interaction process more ceremonial. The upper left side is the total power switch button, open the switch at the bottom of the power indicator light will light up, in access to the charger will have a slow breathing lamp effect, in the power shortage will flash red light to remind; On the right is a multi-function button, including the top button and the outside dial wheel. Press the button to talk to it, release the button to stop receiving, and automatically write analysis; By turning the dial wheel, the AI can adjust the mode of information feedback, such as audio, image, video, etc. On the back is an OLED display, which displays information output by the AI. In addition, a heat dissipation hole is also designed on the side of the aluminum alloy shell.

CONCEPT

The concept of this product came from the pain of not being able to communicate fluently with the team members on the same frequency. I want to let the team members complete their work with the highest efficiency. However, due to the large differences in knowledge fields and different patterns of thinking, the cooperation effect is usually poor. In such cases, I would have cloned more of myself. Therefore, considering the rapid development of AI technology, is it possible to use the information transmitted by users as a database to train AI, so that AI can derive new information based on the understanding of the information and give it back to the user?

This process is more like you are using your own habits and ways of thinking to build a new personality through AI technology, which will not only have your knowledge base, thinking habits and even language habits, but also the AI can access the Internet to further enrich and evolve the knowledge database, so as to become not completely overlap with you nor be boring and changeless. This is the partner with the same level but not the replica of your mind is the most needed for thinking collision, since the bosom friend is hard to find, they can be created through a lower cost.

[Soliloquize] is an AI-based recording and companion desktop device. You can speak to it to record your mood, it will record and talk to you, and you can also adjust its mode of outputting information, it can be voice, music, pictures even videos. Don’t worry about its answer, because its knowledge level will be trained based on the information you input, so it can be able to communicate with you on the same frequency.

[Soliloquize] is expected to be composed of the following parts: aluminum anodized sheet metal body structure, injection molding transparent light cover, full color gamut LED light bank, CNC dial button/button and dial wheel, microphone module, OLED display, mainboard.
